Kotak Mahindra Bank partners Bharti Wal-Mart to launch exclusive “business cards” for the members of Best Price wholesale stores Kotak Mahindra Bank, one of India’s leading private banks has entered into a tie-up with Bharti Wal-Mart Pvt Ltd. to launch ‘Kotak Best Price Business Card, a co-branded “business card” for members of Bharti Wal-Mart’s self-service members-only “Best Price Modern Wholesale” stores. The first “Best Price Modern Wholesale” store opened recently in Amritsar, Punjab.
Offering the advantage of best fixed and fair prices with unmatched convenience, choice, quality and hygiene, the stores will be open exclusively to business owners, not end-consumers. The “Best Price Modern Wholesale” store is a one-stop shop that offers a range of quality products at fixed and fair prices meets the day-to-day needs of traders, restaurant owners, hoteliers, caterers, fruit and vegetable resellers, kiranas, other retail store owners, offices and institutions. Around 50,000 – 65,000 business owners are expected to become members of the “Best Price Modern Wholesale” store in Punjab and all such members would be eligible to apply for the Kotak Best Price Business Card.
The Kotak Best Price Business Card will enable registered members of “Best Price Modern Wholesale” stores to avail an attractive credit facility so that they can enjoy a convenient purchase experience.
Speaking about the launch, Subrat Pani, Business Head, Kotak Credit Cards said, “We are delighted to partner with Bharti Wal-Mart for this B2B co-branded card. The Kotak Best Price Business Card promises to bring immense convenience and value for business owners, giving them access to instant credit while allowing them to manage their purchases to meet growing demand from their customers. This tie-up provides us a great opportunity to add value to Best Price Modern Wholesale members in geographies where their stores will operate.” The Kotak Best Price Business Card can only be used in Best Price Stores.
Besides enjoying the convenience of a business card, the Kotak Best Price Business Card holders would be regularly updated through monthly statements about all of their operations such as available credit limit, business purchases, etc. Assistance is made available to the customers through “phone help” and a dedicated “financial services helpdesk” located inside every Best Price Modern Wholesale store. To ensure convenience and accessibility, there is an ATM provided within the store to enable customers’ to access their account information and withdraw funds.
