Bangkok, 17 August 2009 – DHL, the world’s leading express company, has introduced DHL eMailShip 2.0, an upgraded version of its award-winning e-shipping tool, to enhance productivity and reduce paperwork for customers. Available as a free download from the DHL website, the tool is designed to help customers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, save time by streamlining shipping and booking procedures.

Since its introduction in 2007, the platform has witnessed a healthy increase of 10 to 15 percent in monthly usage. DHL eMailShip has been used by over 2,000 DHL customers across Asia Pacific, processing over 200,000 shipments.
 
DHL eMailShip 2.0 is a simple and effective tool that allows customers to file shipment details and submit to DHL via email - an innovative industry first. Besides ease of submitting shipment details, users also enjoy the convenience of arranging shipment pick-ups via email.

• Cash Shipment Feature that enables both corporate account customers and individual consumers to pay in cash and enjoy the benefits of DHL eMailShip
